Casey Haley
Travel Specialist

Casey joined Inspirely Travel after talking with Meredith many days about all things Disney when she would drop off her son at school where Casey’s classroom was all things Disney.

Casey is a native to South Carolina. Her husband is in the Navy and they have two kids, Lainee and Nate who love going to Disney just as much as she does. Thankfully the Navy currently has their family residing in Kingsland, GA, which means one thing. Closer to Disney World! Growing up Casey would go to Disney and Universal multiple times a year with her family.

Everyone who knows Casey knows she has a passion for all things Disney and with her extensive knowledge, she knew she had what it took to share the pixie dust with others to create the most magical adventures.

Magical Tidbits…

  • Favorite Disney Memory I have a whole lifetime of memories at Disney! Growing up one of my favorite memories was going to Disney on New Years Eve. Me and my best friend weren’t worried about the fireworks so we got in line for Space Mountain close to midnight. We got on and rode right before midnight, by the time it was time to exit the ride there was no line so they asked us if we wanted to go again. Of course we said YES! Well we got to be the last to ride Space Mountain that year and the first to ride it in the next year. Another favorite memory for me was getting to experience disney with my kids for the first time. Nothing beats their priceless faces getting to meet their favorite characters. I can relate to the excitement because I cried as a teenager meeting Tinkerbell for the first time. My son also loves all the “Big” rides, so him getting to ride Space Mountain for the first time after not being tall enough was a dream come true for him.

  • Must Do Well of course the right answer would be everything. There are too many amazing things at Disney. After attending many After Hour Events, if you haven’t experienced one of Disney’s after hours events you are missing out. Disney offers regular after hours events as well as holiday ones. The holiday after hours events always have things you wouldn’t get to experience during regular hours. I also love the amount of things you can get done in the time of these events. Lastly, this is definitely a way you can enjoy the parks and try to beat the heat since the parties are at night.

  • Favorite Time to Travel My Favorite time to travel is the short window when Disney is changing from Halloween to Christmas decorations. I love going to the park one day and seeing all of the spectacular Halloween decorations and then going the next day and it is like walking into a magical Christmas movie. Disney’s attention to detail is like no other when it comes to their decorations. Additionally I love the special events like  Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party that take place during this time.

  • Favorite Quick Service I am a little biased because Casey’s Corner was the first time as a kid I saw my name used somewhere, and well the corn dog nuggets are always a must for me. I love food so it was hard for me to choose just one. The BBQ mac and cheese from Eight Spoon Cafe in Animal Kingdom is also one of my favorites. You can’t go wrong with mac and cheese and then add bbq to it, YUM!

  • Favorite Character Dining The ‘Ohana Breakfast at the Polynesian Resort. The ‘Ohana Breakfast truly captures the essence of the meaning of the word ‘Ohana, Family. You are served a family style breakfast with polynesian touches while also getting to enjoy the staple of a disney breakfast, mickey waffles. While eating breakfast you get to meet Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, and Mickey while being encouraged to dance along to the music which my kids enjoy because getting them to sit can be a struggle and who doesn’t love a dance party!

  • Favorite Spot to Capture a Magical Photo At Disney each park has too many great photo opportunities. I personally love all of the magical shots that Disney has to offer. In Magic Kingdom my favorite photo opportunity is the Rapunzel lantern photos. There is just something special to me about getting that perfect photo with your family holding the lantern. Funny thing is they are located outside of where Rupunzel’s tower/ bathrooms are where all of the lanterns are hanging.
